Hey Reader,
I really want to make things as obvious as possible around here and I don't like to hide the realities of making shifts & pivots, so I'm hoping these weekly emails for you are scratching that itch. š¤
Energetically speaking, some interesting data has been showing up for me lately. Earlier this year I found the words to articulate what I felt was a major bottleneck in my business development and these were the main themes:
ā
(1) I needed to grow my audience & reach... my era of the small list has, alas, come to an end.
ā
(2) I needed to expand my network... people are changing their businesses and roles in this world, which means my usual list of reliable go-to people has been shrinking.
ā
(3) I needed to change my revenue streams to feel more in alignment with my own energy as well as how the audience base is currently evolving.
The full cup of tea:
My existing audience had shrunk, with many early 6-figure entrepreneurs having left entrepreneurship for j-o-b executive roles, which means I needed to adjust how I show up for my growing audience, which is full of early stage people and long-term-stuck people.
- This meant a return to a large audience with low ticket offers.
- This meant a retirement of the high ticket offers for a small, niche audience.
- This meant adjusting all of my content marketing experience and skills for audio & video, rather than old-style blogging.
Y'all. This shit takes time. Making quality pivots takes time. And I really want you to be able to see it now that you can look back and actually see how far down the path we've walked together.
Note: we walked, we did not run.
For all the nerds who nerd out with me here, you can see this shift take place about a year ago when
š¤ the old Thursday Three newsletter was retired
š¤ this Systems & Sanity Saturdays newsletter with weekly readings emerged
š¤ my YouTube channel launched
š¤ the paid newsletter for extended weekly readings launched
š¤ I went into pre-production for The School of Moxie Podcast
šļø Currently in motion... I'm shutting down my online classroom in Podia. Students with lifetime access to various courses and content in there will receive access to the new portal via Notion in October.
The goal here is to be better positioned to respond to a market that isn't changing... it has already changed. And honestly, I missed my content marketing days. I freakin' love content production! I can't wait to finishing tidying up these old loose ends so that you can get the juicy good stuff that's coming up.
But we can't do everything all at the same time... so if you've been feeling the ch-ch-ch-changes, I highly recommend taking one bite at a time. š
I'm a slow eater (yes, really!) and it's ok to be slow with me,

tip of the week
It's been a minute since the last video in this series! Not only has so much happened since our last video, but we've had a lot of big aha moments about how we collaborate. Since you don't get to be in our private spaces of conversations, this is our way of giving you an inside peek into what we've talked about.
Our goal has honestly been for you to hear some processed dialogue between two friends in business who have built up a space where strategy is developed, collaborations are assessed, and accountability is held in a peer-to-peer fashion. This takes work and the effort is well worth it!
You're about to hear Tonya next week on the podcast and we REALLY dig into communities in business on that episode (OMG it is š„). If you'd like a warm up into that conversation, I highly recommend tuning in for this series this week. This episode clocks in a little longer because when Tonya and I talk... we TALK. š
š Here's what I am inviting you to take action on this week:
- What do you want in your own business when it comes to collaborations? Tell us all in the comments so we can see evidence of each other navigating the world at the same time.
- āSubscribe to my channel so you don't miss more of this... bonus points for sharing with friends. š

Last year I did a ton of copy work with Danielle Klemm and I think a strong marker of quality work is when you have a finished product (i.e. the sales page for the final Incubator)
āand also
you can continue to repurpose and reuse the work as you build out more things into the future.
Danielle and I frequently exchange messages in our private DMs on Instagram and when she told me about what she's working on right now, I wanted to help y'all get a chance to work with her also. She's been intentionally and carefully crafting sales page resources in ways that are (1) affordable and (2) actually useful.
She's offering a free workshop on the specific visual changes to make on your sales page, to convey the invaluable transformation of even the most "intangible" of offers.
š You know who had this problem? šāāļø Hi, it was me.
We solved a lot of this through layout as well as an audio version of the sales page that would help the client feel like they got to tuck into a cozy audio book and feel seen + heard + understood. Your solution will likely be entirely unique to you, but that's why you have to learn how to "tangify the intagible"... and it's so worth it!
Our business world is so much more nuanced. The old salesy dude-bro shit doesn't work and you never liked it anyways, so come hang out with the person who helped me find my new words a year ago. Plus, she's fun. š«
