It's the witchiest time of the year! 🎃 I am wishing you massive blessings for Samhain this coming week. Remember that the veils between dimensions are very thin so respect for how others feel goes beyond humans, especially this week.

When we think about how witchy things are taking off in the business world, I encourage you to follow a sage piece of advice from the movie Practical Magic (the book is amazing also 🤌).

The dabbling in the witchy arts has had a major surge in the past year. I mean, it's been rising for a while, but in my own observations, I've seen more business-y people throw out some pretty wackadoodle stuff lately than ever.

Maybe it's the feeling of loss of control because the consumer market is having a little existential crisis. But to attempt non-consensual control over major energetic weather patterns when you are not that powerful is a recipe for heartache and disaster.

This librarian recommends, as with all things, that you go back to the authoritative source:

• Where did you get that spell from?
• Where did THEY get that spell from?
• What are the cultural origins of that spell craft? What are you assuming... which never turns out great?
• Are you appropriating anything that deserves more reverence?
• Are you toying with energies and forces you don't even know how to identify or handle in your own human body?
• Is this problem better solved with something like (1) actual therapy, (2) taking some boring practical action, or (3) waiting with greater patience?
• Do you simply need to let that shit go and it requires *no* action at all?

Do the homework on yourself first... it's every witch's greatest power. 🌟 And remember that if you try to bend someone's free will, that shit will bitch slap you so hard in the future, you'll know exactly when & why. 😬

So... none of this "make them buy your program" brouhaha (sold as "manifestation" programs) I keep seeing pop up on socials. If you wouldn't like someone else doing it to you, then you definitely don't want to touch that yourself.

The end of the year is holding firm on high emotional tensions... I am not going to pretend with you like that's not happening. When individuals are thrown into emotional dysregulation, we cannot expect them be in the highest decision making spaces.

Your data tells a picture and by doing the unglamorous work we talk about in this energetic update is going to help you immensely. Doing The Work can be everything from emotional therapies to learning how to enjoy math on a spreadsheet.

Usually the one you avoid is the one you need the most. 🫠
