๐Ÿ€ [Sensible Woo] Actually, you ARE worth it. All of it. ๐Ÿคฉ

Hey Reader,

I just returned from Palm Springs and a great Alt Summit experience. You can catch some highlights on my Instagram account here. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

While I was running around, connecting with people I hadn't seen in ages, and meeting new people who truly wow'd me, I was struck by how impressive this world is with all of you in it.

More than once I would be sitting in a group having lunch, for example, listening to people's experiences and observations. I would think to myself, "Wow, isn't she impressive." And that reflected back to me how hard it is to say those things to myself.

Anyone here relate? ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ

None of us here are under any illusions... Sensible Woo has passed the halfway mark through the Incubator's annual launch season. As the captain at the helm, I am accutely aware of the words people are using right now and the thought patterns that make their way into an articulated & vocalized space.

Believing that you are worth it is a major source of objections when making decisions to work in a program or invest in a support system. This week's newsletter is dedicated to the root of objections because I've been so inspired by the patterns I saw & heard repeatedly.

I remember when I learned high ticket sales in a coaching company that honestly did not operate 100% ethically in their sales process, and one of the things we talked about in our training sessions was that people will find the money, time, and energy for all the things they want. And they were totally right on this one, very specific point.

The example was if someone's iPhone fell in the toilet and they had the option to get another one. It's amazing that suddenly they can produce a thousand dollars or more, usually overnight. But when invited to pay the same amount for a business with problems that live equally in said toilet bowl, they'll hem and haw.

I don't think the hesitation is around money or value of the program. I am seeing how much it is rooted in where you find your personal worthiness.

That iPhone with the 4-figure price tag is just a thing. But that thing represents social capital, feeling connected, and the hopes & dreams of being noticed by others through all those nifty social apps that we spend oodles of time playing with each day.

It's your personal feelings of worthiness... to be seen, to be heard, to be acknowledged.

Now imagine the root of your worthiness coming not from external validations like social apps, but from your deep inner knowing that you're building a sustainable legacy. THAT is where the work is at and that is where your investment belongs.

Reminding you of your amazing-ness,
~McG ๐Ÿ˜˜

tip of the week

This week we're talking about being an HSP... a high sensitive person. As a metaphysical practitioner in the coaching space, this personal understanding is the root of all magical work. Magical energy is produced with calm, open, free-flowing space inside of you.

It's a very real thing and I find that most people who hang out with me at Sensible Woo are pretty aware of their HSP status. But if this is new to you, then this week's digest is going to be quite the affirming eye opener. ๐Ÿ’•

With the 2023 Incubator cart wide open, I wanted to talk to our HSP crowd because it can be really hard to make business investments that feel like they're in alignment. You feel things other people don't feel. And you're also navigating past experiences where your emotions were manipulated by old-school sales techniques.

If you want to see some of the most common, real-world objections I've heard around the Incubator, you can catch them all about half-way down the sales page. They're valid. They're beautiful. They're heart breaking. They are all the reasons we hold ourselves back.

Whether you're an HSP or not, I do encourage you to consider the art of self-listening & self-validation. Where & how do you protect yourself from repeating past-humiliations or perceived-humiliations? What can you do for yourself in 2023 to get over that speed bump and do great work with good people so that your magic can be better shared with the world?

Here's what I am inviting you to take action on this week:

  1. Watch the video and leave me a comment about your own experiences. How does your HSP-ness show up for you? And what advice would you give to someone else as they get through their objection speed bumps?
  2. โ€‹Subscribe to my channel so you don't miss more of this... bonus points for sharing with friends. ๐Ÿ’•

attention worthy

Do you consider yourself to be a highly sensitive individual? Sometimes abbreviated to the acronym HSP, this has been such an important development in our professional conversations because it's not a new thing. But recognizing what you go through as an HSP, firstly for yourself, secondly by the wider world, is a big breakthrough for our very linear world.

Inc. magazine recently shared a short article with a quiz so you can recognize if you fall in the spectrum of HSP... and how recognizing this can help you find a valuable superpower in your business experiences.

What did you score on your quiz? I landed at 19. According to the researchers cited in the article, scores of 14+ fall in the HSP zone.

But what do you do with yourself when you recognize you're an HSP? The article stops short of helping you with the practical side of this equation.

This article inspired me to make this week's YouTube video. Yup. I inserted a whole new topic in my lineup because I felt like it was that necessary!

Learning to harness your HSP internal powers is a learned skill + an art form. It takes consistent support and time to start mastering this for your greater benefit. And this is why programs like the Incubator exist... They're here to help you in a longer-term space. This is simply not something you solve in a 5 minute read online.

Have you met some of our Incubator alumni? They're pretty impressive individuals and I have been absolutely honored to work with them. This year a few of them agreed to let me highlight their experiences. If you've wondered what it's like to be in the Incubator, this week I'm sharing some of their stories with you.
